Overseeing the design and development of moulds with the engineering team to create molds that meet the specific requirements of the manufacturing process.
Ensures that daily schedules, quality and production goals are met, troubleshoots problems as required.
Ensure that the molds are designed to produce high-quality products efficiently.
Oversees the creation and maintenance of moulds used for garment accessories, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to production timelines.
Review and approve mould designs, ensuring they meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
Plan and schedule mold usage for production, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Manage the costs associated with mould development, manufacturing, and maintenance, working to optimize efficiency and reduce expenses.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
Lead and supervise a team of mould makers, technicians and other support staff.
