Several years of experience in air freight, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.Proven experience in managing air freight operations, including handling cargo, customs regulations, and documentation.Experience in vendor management, cost control, and negotiation with airlines and other freight carriers.Knowledge of international shipping procedures, freight forwarding, and air cargo regulations.Strong leadership skills to manage a team and ensure operational efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Ability to oversee and optimize air freight operations, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with regulations.In-depth knowledge of air freight tariffs, rates, and contracts.Problem-solving abilities to address issues such as shipment delays, route changes, or cargo handling problems. |
