Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) was established in 1986 as a national legal aid and human rights organization. Initially its work was limited to providing free legal services to the disempowered particularly women, working children and workers in Dhaka city. But over the last thirty three years, ASK has evolved a more comprehensive approach to the promotion, protection and prevention in the area of legal and human rights. ASK’s strategies to promote human rights awareness and community activism; offer legal aid through mediation and litigation while survivors are given psycho-social counseling; investigations into human rights violations and their documentation are supplemented by research which together lead to media campaigns to defend human rights, and public interest litigation for law and policy reform.

Project Name : “Speak up! Empowering CSOs to protect children and youths’ freedom of expression by capitalising on the opportunities and addressing the challenges of the digital space in Bangladesh”Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) was established in 1986 as a national legal aid and human rights organization. Initially its work was limited to providing free legal services to the disempowered particularly women, working children and workers. ASK has evolved a more comprehensive approach to the promotion, protection and prevention in the area of legal and human rights. ASK's strategies to promote human rights awareness and community activism; offer legal aid through mediation and litigation while survivors are given psycho-social counseling; investigations into human rights violations and their documentation are supplemented by research which together lead to media campaigns to defend human rights, and public interest litigation for law and policy reform. ASK is going to implement an EU funded project with the support of Terre des Hommes Netherlands Bangladesh. The project will focus the risk and the vulnerability of online sexual exploitation of the children and freedom of speech; the risk and the safety clause of the youth in using online platform.Responsibilities:
Overall management and coordination of the project;
Plan, coordinate and facilitate the analysis of CSOs, capacity need assessment and mapping process of local CSOs, Children’s groups and networks, identify the key areas of improvements and make recommendations for implementation of capacity building components;
Develop ToRs for hiring consultants in accordance with ASK policies and coordinate with top management to manage the delivery of outputs.
Arrange and coordinate all training with consultants and facilitators;
Facilitate constructive dialogue among participants with differing viewpoints
Identify opportunities for project intervention, and CSOs and individuals to be involved in project activities.
Ensure timely, quality and accurate reporting to management and donor(s) on a regular basis based on the Project Monitoring & Evaluation framework;

Active participation in activities within projects implemented by the organisation, including meetings, workshops, training, research, advocacy, and the preparation of reports for various bodies.
