Other Requirement :
  • Age 20 to 35 years

  • Must be registered with the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
  • Should have the capacity to community mobilization and promotional activities.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in maternal and child health care, preferably in an NGO or community-based setting.
  • Experience in conducting normal deliveries and managing maternal complications is highly desirable·      
  • Good communication skill in English both speaking and writing.      
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with a wide variety of patients, medical staff, and caregivers.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience : 1 to 3 years
    Responsibilities :
  • Provide Antenatal Care (ANC), Postnatal Care (PNC), and Perinatal Care to pregnant and lactating mothers through the Symbiosis MCH Center and home visits.
  • Conduct normal deliveries and manage uncomplicated cases at the MCH Center, ensuring high standards of maternity care.
  • Identify and refer complicated pregnancy and neonatal cases to government or NGO hospitals for specialized care.
  •  Facilitate awareness sessions and Home-Based Life-Saving Skills (HBLSS) training among community people to enhance maternal and neonatal health knowledge.      
  • Provide support and advice following events such as miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality, and neonatal death.      
  • Provide family planning counseling and support women in making informed reproductive health choices.     
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient records, birth registers, referrals, and other essential reports. 
  • Collaborate with community health workers, medical professionals, and other team members to enhance service quality.      
  • Supervise the provision of primary health care within the rural community.    
  • Participate in capacity-building training organized by Symbiosis Bangladesh or partner organizations.      
  • Counsel and educate rural women, the family, and the community, in relevant areas of maternal child health care.
  • Maintains a good relationship and communication with pregnant mother.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by management to meet program goals.
