  • A proactive and problem-solving approach to managing hostel operations and front desk activities.

    Responsibilities : Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Hostel Supervisor & Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our hostel and front desk. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure a safe and well-managed living environment for students while maintaining efficient front desk operations.Key Responsibilities:Hostel Supervision & Management:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of hostel operations, ensuring a secure and disciplined environment.
  • Supervise meal preparation and ensure timely serving of food for students and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and proper functioning of hostel facilities (lighting, fans, water supply, gas connections, etc.).
  • Monitor hostel staff attendance and manage their duty schedules.
  • Ensure students adhere to hostel rules, attend classes on time, and address any concerns regarding their well-being.
  • Conduct surprise inspections to prevent unauthorized use of electrical devices.
  • Maintain records of hostel-related issues, prepare monthly reports, and submit service requests when necessary.
  • Issue gate passes and manage student entry/exit permissions as per requirements.
  • Coordinate with security personnel to ensure 24/7 safety and surveillance.
  • Provide immediate support to students facing medical issues, coordinate with healthcare services, and notify guardians when needed.
  • Oversee hostel shopping and inventory management in collaboration with the mess manager.
  • Front Desk & Reception Management:
  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and guardians professionally.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Manage and process student admissions, including the sale of admission forms.
  • Assist and counsel students and guardians regarding admission procedures.
  • Receive and process official applications and forward them to the designated authorities.
  • Ensure smooth administrative operations and provide support as required.
