Educational Requirement : Master's degree in Economics, International Relations, Development Studies, or related fields from a reputed institution is required.The academic degree obtained from universities in North America will be an advantage
Other Requirement : High level of proficiency in English and Bangla is required
  • The applicant must have English Level test scores (TOEIC or TOEFL or GRE or IELTS) within 2years.
  • The applicant who has Bachelor/Master/Doctoral degree of universities in North America will be exempt from submission of English Level test scores
  • Relevant work experience, either with development partners/donor agencies, renowned research institutes, GoB, or in a comparable position will be an advantage
  • Bilateral / Multilateral institution(e.g. ADB, WB, JICA, AFD, KfW, IFAD, AIIB, EIB) work experience will be preferred

  • Should be a team player with a strong ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues
  • Thorough understanding of the GoB’s existing Rules of Business, development policies etc.

  • Responsibilities : Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Liaise with ministries and project executing agencies of GoB to ensure smooth monitoring of EDCF projects throughout project life cycle (from conception to post completion)
  • Support in harmonization of cooperation and coordination between Korea Eximbank and GoB procedures for project formulation, preparation and implementation smoothly
  • Maintain and update contact information of GoB officials, development partners, etc; manage relationships as required
  • Maintain up to date records of files/documents related to project monitoring
  • Provide support to missions and/or delegates and organize appointments/meetings of the relevant stakeholders; accompany missions as and when necessary
  • Provide support in preparation of project documents; generate monitoring plans and reports related to implementation status
  • Conduct all administrative tasks related to visa, arrival and identification paperwork of international staff
  • Conduct administrative tasks related to office operations
  • Prepare research reports on a range of economic and related issues/events that may be relevant to GoB's development agenda
  • Support in organizing any event, training, workshop, seminar, and all kinds of meetings related to the office
  • Provide support for miscellaneous tasks and ad-hoc requests
  • Employment Status: This position includes a 2-month internship period. Successful completion of the internship may lead to a full-time employment offer. Failure to meet the required performance standards during the internship may result in the termination of the contract.
