Educational Requirement : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field
Other Requirement : Experience and Skills:
  • 2-3 Years of NGO project implementation experience in Women's Leadership, Human Rights, and Gender Based Violence (GBV)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and documentation within the development sector, preferably in women's leadership and empowerment projects
  • Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Access)
  • Excellent report-writing and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with donor reporting requirements and formats.
  • Knowledge of gender and social inclusion frameworks
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to project areas as needed

The organization is implementing a project to enhance women's leadership and representation, addressing the challenges of gender disparity and encouraging active participation of women in decision-making processes. The Monitoring and Documentation Officer will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and transparency of the project by tracking progress, documenting outcomes, and maintaining robust records.
  • Job Responsibilities1. Monitoring and Evaluation:
  • Develop and implement monitoring frameworks and tools to assess project progress and impact.
  • Conduct regular field visits to collect data and verify project activities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to project management.
  • 2. Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports on project activities, including success stories, challenges, and lessons learned periodically.
  • Document best practices and innovations to enhance future project implementation.
  • Maintain a systematic database for project-related documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • 3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze collected data to generate insights on project outcomes and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare periodic reports for donors, management, and other stakeholders, adhering to required formats and timelines.
  • 4. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with project staff, partners, and beneficiaries to ensure timely and accurate data collection.
  • Support the team in organizing workshops, training sessions, and other events, providing documentation and reporting support.
  • 5. Capacity Building:
  • Train project staff and partners on monitoring and documentation tools and techniques.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and evidence-based decision-making within the project team.
