The Project Officer will be responsible for the efficient planning, execution, and management of activities under the Nagorikata-Civic Engagement Fund (CEF)-EmpowerHer project. The role involves working closely with the 7 District Human Rights Monitoring Officers, 8 Upazila Facilitators, and other stakeholders to promote women's leadership and representation while ensuring the project's objectives align with organizational and donor standards.
Job Responsibilities1. Project Planning and Implementation:
Develop detailed work plans and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
Ensure timely implementation of project activities in the 67 unions across 7 upazilas in 7 Districts.
Facilitate capacity-building initiatives for women leaders, women peer leaders, and community stakeholders.
2. Stakeholder Coordination:
Build strong relationships with local government institutions, women's organizations, and community groups.
Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, including donors and local authorities.
Coordinate with the Partner Organizations, local government, and community leaders to ensure alignment with project goals.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation:
Oversee the implementation of the project's monitoring and evaluation framework.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and provide on-site support to field teams.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely project progress reports, including case studies and success stories.
4. Team Management:
Supervise and mentor field staff and project office staff
Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Address any challenges or bottlenecks in project delivery.
5. Advocacy and Awareness-Raising:
Lead advocacy campaigns promoting women's leadership and representation at Union, Upazila and District Level
Organize community-level dialogues and events to foster gender equality
Represent the project in local and national forums, as required.
6. Financial Management
Ensure that project expenditures are in line with approved budgets.
Collaborate with the finance team to maintain transparent and accurate financial records.
Assist in preparing financial reports for the donor.
Deliverables
Comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and yearly progress reports.
Successful completion of all planned activities within the agreed timeline
Documentation of lessons learned and best practices
Strengthened capacities of women leaders in targeted unions
