  • Proficiency in IT, with experience managing and analyzing business data using customized apps, Excel, or Google Sheets. Familiarity with data visualization tools or project management software would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in the dairy, food processing, or agricultural sector in Bangladesh is a significant advantage. Strong understanding of dairy processing technologies, quality control, and food safety regulations.
  • Certifications (optional): HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), ISO or other food safety and quality standards.
  • Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience in promoting women’s economic empowerment, inclusive business models, and/or climate-resilient enterprise development.
  • Strong background in blended finance mechanisms, impact investing, or public-private partnership development.
  • Solid knowledge of the South Asian investment and development landscape, with particular understanding of Bangladesh’s dairy and agribusiness sector.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations and community-based development programs, especially those involving marginalized groups.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise and entrepreneur development, social enterprise management, SME support, or market systems development.
  • At least 4 years of proven managerial/leadership experience.
  • Age limit: 35–45 years (may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates).

  • Protibondhi Community Center (PCC) is a non-profit, non-political, humanitarian and Christian value–based organization, founded in 1996 by the Brothers of Taizé and officially registered with the Department of Social Services (1997) and NGO Affairs Bureau (2008). Guided by the motto “ধর আমার হাত / Hold My Hand,” PCC has been working for over 25 years to improve the lives of the most vulnerable populations, with a special focus on persons with disabilities.
  • Protibondhi Community Center (PCC) is a community-led organization dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities through inclusive development initiatives. Our Green Dairy Social Enterprise is a pioneering effort to transform the dairy sector by integrating sustainability, traceability, and social impact—especially for marginalized communities.
  • Protibondhi Community Center (PCC) is implementing a project named “Improving the Lives of Persons with Disabilities and Vulnerable No-Disabilities” (ILPWDVD) in Bhola District. This project focuses on livelihood and disability inclusion. The projects support members on self-help groups (SHG) by discussing income generating activities and providing training for disabled individuals and their families to develop skills and improve their mental talents.
  • Protibondhi Community Center seeks a Managing Director to lead the social enterprise development by identifying and creating new business opportunities and drive to achieve expected results through effective implementation.
  • Position Summary
  • The Managing Director will be responsible for strategic leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement for the Green Dairy Social Enterprise. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in agribusiness, inclusive enterprise development, and a passion for community impact.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • The Managing Director will be responsible for driving the growth of social enterprises by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, exploring untapped markets, and developing innovative strategies that foster sustainable business models with measurable social and environmental impacts.
  • This pivotal role will manage PCC’s pilot enterprise initiatives by providing strategic and technical guidance to its flagship project, ILPWDVD in Bhola along with ILPWDVD Project Manager. The role will also look after the private sector development component in the ILPWDVD project.
  • The Managing Director will also work closely with the funding agency, TAI, to assist in designing innovative enterprise models, exploring blended finance opportunities, and strengthening TAI’s broader network of social enterprises across Bangladesh.

  • Provide strategic and technical guidance to PCC and Green Dairy teams, focusing on enterprise and entrepreneur development, inclusive business models, and innovation.
  • Lead dairy value chain development, business planning, marketing strategies, and financial sustainability initiatives for Green Dairy Social Enterprise.
  • Build the capacity of project staff and community members, including persons with disabilities, through regular training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Conduct regular project visits across milk collection centers and chilling hubs to monitor performance and ensure enterprise operations are progressing as planned.
  • Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of business and social impact data to guide decision-making and ensure accountability.
  • Organize and facilitate visits for donors, visitors, and impact investors to showcase the dairy social enterprise model.
  • Document, synthesize, and share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to strengthen learning within PCC and among partners.
  • Lead the development of concept notes, business plans, investment pitches, and funding proposals to attract blended finance, catalytic funding, and impact investment.
  • Oversee all business operations, including supply chain management, milk processing, sales, marketing, and finance, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and scalability.

  • Oversee milk chilling centers, quality control systems, and farmer engagement
