Master of Science (MSc) in Footwear Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Footwear Engineering Postgraduate/Graduate in Footwear Engineering or relevant degree from a well reputed institute

:
At least 12 - 15 years of product experience in footwear development, sourcing and manufacturing, especially with a factory or buying office
Proven track record of vendor management, price negotiation, and on-time delivery performance.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic
Strong presentation and delivery skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines

The Merchandising Team Manager will be accountable for leading our merchandising operations from concept to delivery. The incumbent will drive business results through strong customer communication, product development leadership, material sourcing, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities and proven experience managing teams and large-scale footwear programs.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact point for customers to ensure clear, consistent communication on product strategy, costing, and delivery commitments.
Build strong customer relationships to identify growth opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Translate customer expectations into actionable merchandising and development strategies.
Steer end-to-end product development process ensuring that all developments align with market trends, brand strategy, and customer requirements.
Identify and develop reliable material sources and manufacturing partners.
Lead the costing process, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness across all styles.
Negotiate prices and margins in line with financial targets and company objectives.
Oversee order placement, production tracking, and delivery follow-ups to ensure customer timelines and quality standards are met.
Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot production or shipment issues in collaboration with factories and internal teams.
Lead and inspire a team of merchandisers to achieve operational and strategic goals.
Identify and develop future talent within the team for career progression.
