  • Job Summary
  • Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox's Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Rohingya community of Cox’s Bazar with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM). Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Community Mobilizer for the “Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Bangladeshi Community and Rohingya Women & Youths in Cox’s Bazar” Project.
  • Reporting
  • Community Mobilizer will report to Project Officer (Training Center Management). S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying and selecting beneficiaries of the project following the beneficiary selection criteria.
  • Conduct baseline survey in the targeted Rohingya communities to identify beneficiaries as per the project objectives and outcomes.
  • Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.
  • Create batches of the beneficiaries for the arrangement of the vocational skill training in the targeted camps.
  • Mobilize the project beneficiaries to adopt the project deliveries through active participation.
  • Organize selected Rohingya beneficiaries for timely participation in the vocational skill training sessions.
  • Support distribution of the input supports to the graduated beneficiaries on self-employment generation.
  • Support the beneficiaries to develop self-employment initiative with the input supports provided and manufacturing of the products at the camp level.
  • Supervise business initiatives of the project beneficiaries through regular visits to the beneficiaries’ households and providing necessary guidance.

  • Other Facilities :
    • Monthly Gross Salary will be 36,876 BDT with contributory provident fund 1,624BDT, monthly bonus 3,500BDT and regular traveling and communication bill.
