Educational Requirement : Bachelor/Honors, Masters Bachelor/Master's degree in any discipline from any reputed university preferably in social sciences, statistics.

  • At least 03 years of professional experience in managing and facilitating TVET programs in national or international NGOs.
  • Technical Skills
  • Must have professional knowledge on TVET programming and quality assurance.
  • Proficient with MS office suite
  • Able to take decision in a timely manner, priorities and multi-task work seamlessly

  • Job Summary
  • Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox's Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Rohingya community of Cox’s Bazar with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM). Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- TVET Quality Assurance Officer for the “Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Bangladeshi Community and Rohingya Women & Youths in Cox’s Bazar Project” Project.
  • Reporting
  • TVET Quality Assurance Officer will report to Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing quality assurance plans, policies, and procedures for vocational training programs to ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for trainers, assessors, and other relevant staff members to enhance their understanding of quality assurance practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with trainers and instructors to enhance their teaching methodologies, instructional techniques, and delivery approaches. Provide guidance and support to trainers in implementing effective training strategies.
  • Monitoring the actual delivery of vocational training programs, including classroom instruction, practical sessions, and on-the-job training, to ensure adherence to established quality standards and instructional methodologies.
  • Assessing the competency and performance of vocational trainers, providing feedback, and implementing strategies for their professional development to enhance their teaching skills and ensure high-quality instruction.
  • Reviewing and assessing the vocational training curriculum and training materials to ensure they meet the required standards, are up-to-date, and align with the sector’s objectives.
  • Overseeing the assessment and certification processes for trainees, ensuring the integrity and validity of assessments, and verifying that certifications are awarded to deserving candidates based on their demonstrated skills and competencies.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in vocational training processes, methodologies, and resources. Recommending and implementing strategies to enhance the quality, efficiency, and relevance of training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities, evaluations, and compliance. Prepare reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and actions taken.
  • Disseminate best practices in vocational training and promote innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may hinder the successful delivery of training.
  • Ensure that the training facilities, equipment, and learning resources are adequate and maintained properly.
  • Analyzing participant feedback, reviewing training materials, and conducting site visits to training centers.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as vocational training partners, training experts, government agencies, and other NGOs, to enhance the overall quality of vocational training programs.

  • Other Facilities :
    • Monthly Gross Salary will be 59,753 BDT with contributory provident fund 2,830BDT, monthly bonus 5,417BDT and regular traveling and communication bill.
