Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Knowledge on Accounts and Finance will be an added advantage
Minimum [5-8] years of experience in banking systems implementation or IT project management in a financial institution.
Proven experience with at least one core banking system.
Skills:
Strong understanding of banking processes and financial products. In-depth knowledge of Loan/Lease, Deposit, Treasury, and Accounting processes in the banking domain.
Strong understanding of GL mapping, interest computation, product configuration, and regulatory reporting.
Project management expertise (PMP, PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with data migration, API integrations, and system testing.
Deployment and integration of RTGS, HR & Payroll, Fixed Asset etc.
Knowledge of banking compliance standards (e.g., AML, KYC).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based system
Understanding of banking regulations.
Oracle, SQL or basic scripting for data validation and troubleshooting.

This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering a successful implementation of core banking platforms or ancillary financial systems while working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, accounts, vendors, and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of new or upgraded core banking systems, specifically focusing on Loan/Lease, Deposit, Treasury, and Accounting modules.
Analyze existing processes, workflows, and system requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities.
Conduct gap analysis and ensure proper collection, data migration and system integration.
Create detailed project plans aligned with vendor and stakeholders, timelines, and progress reports.
Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and facilitate issue resolution.
Train end-users and develop comprehensive documentation and training materials.
Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and regulatory standards.
Monitor system performance post-implementation and provide ongoing support during stabilization phase.
Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues when necessary.
