We strive to provide comprehensive support services and up-to-date information that will help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional goals.Purpose of Position: This role is responsible for supporting the achievement of the Sylhet office sales performance targets. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the entire operations and performance of the StudyNet Sylhet office. This includes managing and mentoring a cross-functional team comprising Counsellors, Customer Relationship Officers (CROs), and support staff. This role is responsible for providing information, advice, support and processing of applications for international students seeking placement in education institutions in Bangladesh by promoting StudyNet’s products and services directly to students.Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Branch Operations:
Lead, supervise, and manage the day-to-day activities of the Sylhet branch, including counselling, customer service, admin, and support functions.
Set clear goals and KPIs for all team members (counsellors, CROs, support staff) and monitor progress regularly.
Foster a strong performance-based culture rooted in integrity, collaboration, accountability, and student success.
Conduct regular team briefings, one-on-one reviews, and performance evaluations.
Manage schedules and ensure resource planning aligns with seasonal business needs.
Student Counseling:
Advise prospective students on suitable study options, courses, and institutions, and help them create a shortlist of applications for effective counseling.
Schedule and conduct phone and office meetings to convey course information and meet student needs, including admission requirements and processes.
Support students through admissions, visa, and pre-departure processes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and families, ensuring StudyNet's reputation as a professional and trusted service provider.
Uphold integrity and ethics in all interactions with students, families, clients, and colleagues.
Customer Service:
Act with the highest level of accountability with students, clients, and colleagues.
Respond to face-to-face, phone, and email inquiries in a timely manner with accurate and relevant information.
Process and submit applications to institutions, obtain offers, and facilitate enrollments in a timely manner.
Build effective relationships with education institution staff to support timely application processing.
Assist students with on-arrival issues or refer them to appropriate agencies where necessary.
Build strong relationships with network counselors to enable ongoing support of students onshore.
Teamwork and Office Discipline:
Support the Office Manager/Marketing Team in organizing major events such as interviews, in-house sessions, and exhibitions.
Promote StudyNet through institution visits, seminars, exhibitions, and student associations.
Assist in identifying local market opportunities and threats.
Participate in office meetings to share information, expertise, and maintain office discipline.
Foster teamwork and increase cooperation, efficiency, and effectiveness among StudyNet’s students.
Communication and Follow-up Tasks:
Follow up with students to ensure enrollment activities are completed effectively.
Use all available communication channels (email, telephone, CRM features like SMS and tasks) to maintain contact.
Clear admission-related tasks daily, review weekly task reports, and ensure all tasks are notified and actioned.
Present relevant information to students, clients, and key stakeholders as needed.
Provide regular updates to the line manager on progress, challenges, and support needs.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, application status, and sales activities using CRM systems or other relevant tools.
Generate reports as required by management.
